A Message from Your Local PCSO |
||
As the year draws to a close and Christmas lights up our streets, I want to take a moment to wish you all a wonderful festive season.
It's been a privilege serving our community this year, and I am grateful for the support and trust you have shown me and the team. Your safety and well-being are our top priority, and we're committed to keeping our neighbourhoods safe and vibrant.
As we wind down this year and get into the festive spirit, I wanted to share some photos from our community events and patrols.
Please take a look at these pictures.
We were honoured to attend a Remembrance service at St. Nicolas church and laid a wreath in tribute to our fallen heroes. Our Christmas market stall where we met locals and handed out crime prevention kits and information cards/leaflets. Street Watch walks where we discussed ways to keep our area safe and reported issues like fly-tipping to council using Fix My Street. We held community meetings to engage with the local residents and the businesses. We also held Drop-In sessions to connect with our community so they can meet with us in a private and confidential setting at their doorstep. We were given an opportunity at Oddingley Hall to get involved with volunteers with wrapping Christmas hampers to deliver in the community.
May your Christmas be filled with joy, love and laughter, and may the New Year bring you happiness, health and prosperity.
A few festive reminders:
Keep valuables secure and out of sight Stay safe and responsible when celebrating Look out for your neighbours, especially those who might be vulnerable
Thank you for your support, and let's work together to make our community an even better place in the year ahead!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
